Dr Sophie Miller and Emma Glisson are the PDOC leads for the Oxford Children’s Neurorehabilitation Service at the John Radcliffe Hospital, which was commissioned by NHS England in 2017 to deliver specialist inpatient neurorehabilitation to children and teenagers with acquired brain and spinal cord injury. Approximately 25 patients pass through the service each year, with a small number in PDOC at the start of their rehabilitation.
